No wonder they call that thing a leviathen. So sorry for the venting/ranting but yeah i have had some times where my prawn took a skydive to hell, and a dragon followed me to. Also again, i'm complaining and not complaining, i LOVE this game so friggin much but god it made me tear my hair out at times, especailly now that i know i could have made things much easier if i would have taken different actions, but i wanted to play the game as blind as i could and i stoppped watching riot on youtube just to avoid any more spoilers tnow that i could play the game for myself. Sorry again to make you read all that when i could have just said yes, but eh, oh well. But i'm not sorry lol, but yes i have had experiances with my prawn glitching through the floor. Get it? vent, and the thermal vents? I'm so punny. It was aweful, and sorry for ranting about my experiance but i needed to vent lol. I love this game don't get me wrong but the lava zone was the worst experiance of my life and DON'T even get me started on the 3 hour journey it took to manuever my cyclops into the entrance to the lava zone i had to look up after 2 hours of searching the lost river.
Subnautica prawn suit stuck in alien base upgrade#
And on top of THAT, i didn't know what the reinforced dive suit was cause i was dumb lol, so i took continueous damage thanks to the lava and had to work my way around the dragon with a grapple with no jet boost upgrade of course, so that was a nightmare AND my power was running low on the prawn AND i had no health packs, AND i was low on health. I can't tell you how many times my prawn suit was cliped through the ground then destroyed thanks to the sea dragon. I had to abandone a fully functioning cyclops thanks to lava larva and warpers doing the equivalent of camping my spawn in overwatch while symetra turrents cover the walls of said spawn. It took me over 3 hours worth of fighting the sea dragon, and having that thing glitch me and my prawn suit under the ground and i had to hang on for dear life with my grappel attatched to the floor and hope i could get the dragon to clip me back through and not destroy my prawn in the process, and even IF that went well a warper would tele me out of the prawn suit and 1 shot me, and that was after i had to abandon my seaclops on the other side of the biome thanks to 3 warpers killing me the second i left to get the lava larvas off the cyclops. My first world in subnautica made it all the way to the lava zone and inside the precurser base there. If you can still see this easily without scorlling down i will hit enter a few more times in an edit. has any1 else had this happen to them I'm going to say this now SPOILERS The Inactive Lava Zone can be accessed through two entry points located in the western and eastern wings of the Lost River, being the Mountains Corridor and the Tree Cove, respectively.Originally posted by darrenswain:my prawn suit just sank into the sand and i just upgraded it with a drill arm and most of the upgrades arrrrrr. The player must be extremely careful when navigating this biome, as touching the lava on the floor of the Inactive Lava Zone can completely deplete the player's health in seconds and the temperature applies constant damage unless the player has a Reinforced Dive Suit. It also contains the rare resource Kyanite, which is used in crafting some Prawn Suit and Cyclops modules. It is composed of two distinct areas and can be found at 900 to 1300 meters down, well below the limit of a Seamoth (even when equipped with a Seamoth Depth Module MK3) - making an upgraded Cyclops and Prawn Suit the only vehicles to be able to navigate through it. The Inactive Lava Zone is characterized by large, arching structures and walls of hardened lava with occasional steaming lava falls.

It is the second deepest biome and the penultimate area in Subnautica. The Inactive Lava Zone is a cavernous biome located 900 meters below the surface.
